Laura Philipps - Producer

Laura Philipps is a theatre-maker in Toronto with an interest in supporting Artist-Producers and diversifying arts practices. She is a Production Manager and Producer of dance, theatre and outdoor multimedia works.

Laura attended the University of Toronto where she was Artistic Producer of the UC Follies, and has received professional training through Crows Theatre’s Artist Cross-Training Program and Generator’s Artist Producer Training Program.

Laura is currently adapting her technical skills through Seneca College’s Film & Television Production Microcredential, to help live performances integrate and utilize video mediums. Laura volunteers with Showing Up for Racial Justice Toronto (SURJ-TO) and Means of Production: a collective of Production managers and Technical Directors advocating for improved working conditions for production leadership.

Laura is currently the Producer of Henry G20 and is working with Pratibha Arts' Diversity Dance Initiative
